Kubota L2650/Ford 3930
My L2650 didn't come with a drawbar, and I'm needing one. So I've called the two local Kubota dealers and they are awful proud of these things, about $90 proud.

My question is this, can a feller get one any cheaper? Or could a feller consider some fabrication? I'm guessing this is made of some pretty strong stuff, but $90 seems high to me, maybe I'm just cheap.

Any advice would be appreciated. The P/N for the part is 3507029710 if that helps anybody.

Thanks in advance

Not sure about the price, but be sure you get the pin and clip with it. For $90 they should be included but may not be.

Get the dimensions and check with a machine shop… They should be able to drill the holes you need in bar stock. Even with the higher price of steel it should be affordable. Then buy the pin & clip. KennyV.

If you are looking for a 3-point drawbar, they can be had at any fleet/tractor supply store for around $20. I used one of these to build my trailer hitch. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I paid $30 for my drawbar at a MF dealership. This price included the clips. Just check the width between the 3 point bars. I have heard the kubota is a little narrower than others.

I too noticed how proud my dealer was of their drawbar. Tractor Supply Co. has them for $35.00 or so.

I'm in need of the drawbar that attaches underneath the rear axle of the tractor, not the 3-pt hitch. I have the 3-pt drawbar and like everyone else, paid $25ish. I was just shocked when the dealer said $90, I was thinking $25ish again. I guess that's not the case.

I may just take my lumps and buy one, several people have had different opinions on what type of steel would be good or bad for this application, so I know it will be right if I just buy it.

Thanks for all the input.

I paid $75 for mine, but it has a 4" hitch receiver in it, and I love it. Well worth the $$ I think. Pics if you want 'em.

That may be it. I have not actually seen one, all the dealers around here would have to order one. Someone who has a tractor that came with a drawbar may have to comment on this.

I believe this is what I want, but I'm not sure about the size and what standard Kubota uses. The website gives dimensions, so if someone who has one could comment, that would be great.

thanks
