And here's the receiver. It's kind of like a class 2 hitch receiver except it's not the same shape.

As long as the trailer takes a 1 7/8 ball and is empty

I moved the trailer down the road to the neighbor's place with a load of wood on it, once. (No hills) Otherwise, mostly just maneuvering it to it's parking spot in the woods.

Just out of curiosity, what do you need the drawbar for that the 3-point draw bar cannot do? I only ask because you already have the 3pt.

I am going to try to use a square baler with my tractor, and for that to hook up right I need this drawbar.

I'm not sure what else I'll need it for in the future, but it is supposed to be safer to haul heavy stuff using this drawbar as opposed to the 3-pt attachment.

At this point I'm probably just going to order one and pay the $$. So if in the future anyone needs any measurements of the official drawbar I'll be able to help you out.

Jarrod: I'm surprised that you haven't seen a drawbar on a tractor sitting on a dealer's lot- but then, they might remove them for safe-keeping. The bar on my 8200 is a straight piece of steel, much like the one pictured on the NT site, but not off-set. Should be easy to find a steel bar and drill some holes. As someone said, the pin and clip will be harder to find.

Please don't use any type of drawbar mounted to the three point hitch for attaching a baler. I have a source for the correct drawbar you need at a better price.
