I am working on several food plots for deer camp. Problem is too many rocks to plow deeply. Thought I'd use a chisel plow running 4-6 inches deep. Will I need tractor with draft control to keep plow from pulling itself deeper than that?? Since I don't yet have a tractor, do the TC45's have draft control??

It is an option, installed by dealer.

Is draft control designed for the purpose I suggested with the chisel plow or other types of plows ??

I don't think the draft control mechanism cares what you hook on the 3 point, it will still work.

My limited understanding of draft control indicates it is designed to keep the draft constant on any ground engaging implement. Plows are ground engaging implements. When engaged in the ground, it requires draft to pull it. Draft (amount of force on the implement) can be kept constant with draft control. Too much draft, implement is raised out of the ground, returning the draft to the amount chosen by you, the user.
