Draft Control Chatter....

When you start the tractor pull both 3 point levers all the way back. then lower the draft control all the way forward then adjust your height control and then draft.

I periodically get "chatter" in mine, I stop, readjust, then no more chatter. One of the mechanical wizards will be able to tell you the reason, I'm just an end user.

I use mine with my BB alot. It took me a long time to understand that it takes multiple passes to make something flat. The first two trips may actually make things kinda worse, then they get better. With my rear blade, when I am just grading, I barely use the draft control and mainly use the position control only.

OK Pa & War, I'll give it a try. On top of my DC trouble my hyd side link cylinder is leaking down making it hard to run the same BB angle for very long. I am hoping it just needs a rebuild kit.

RD, before you rebuild anything, swap your side link connections with your top link connections and the see if the side link still leaks down. That way you will know if it's the hydraulic or the control.

Yup, I already disconnected the lines....still leaks down quite fast.

I had to shuttle 6 tons of sand up the driveway this morning(truck couldnt make it up there after all the rain) & I drug the BB on each return trip. I only got chatter if I didn't reset it from scratch after making a run. The sun is out & no block layer guys yet ;>[
