DR pto driven chipper

Bought a Kubota L2500 today with very little hours. Bought from an older gentleman who kept it garaged and has owned since new just to mow a couple acres 3 times per yr. With the tractor and mower came a DR pto driven chipper that has been used once. It was kept indoors as well. Being in the tree business myself, I have no use for this small of a chipper. If anyone is interested in it make me a reasonable offer. I researched it here and there are some older threads that lead me to believe that many homeowners find this chipper to be pretty handy. I also looked it up on youtube and found plenty of vids on it.

Sounds really intriguing, but I suspect my 2310 might be a bit under-powered for that thing.

Its the exact chipper in the link irving posted. And im in central Florida. Its being dropped off out at a job site Tues morning so ill bring the chipper to the shop where i can get some pics available.

A 23 hp tractor would be fine for it. I had my 18.5 hp 4010 on 3.5" MacKissic. It would only bog a little bit on full size material. Hp only goes up by square root of diameter. So, wouldn't need much more hp for 4.5". I now have 24.2 hp on the 1025.

If I was in Florida, I'd entertain the upgrade. Mac makes DR stuff; I think.

One of those things I'd like to add to my list of goodies one day, but freight from FL would be a killer for me, I suspect. Where I'm located, when I buy stuff from DR, I drive over & pick it up. They have a branch office about an hour south of me in NH (no sales tax).
