Dozer suggestion?

OK now you're saying it is a torque converter drive with a high and low for each track???

The bigger Case dozers had a high-low on each track, from the 450 size up. The new dozers are hydrostatic drive, don't know exactly when that started.

Started after the CNH merger. They look just like the New Hollands which look just like the Fiat Hitachi/now Fiat Kobelcos in Europe.

Ok but how is each track powered???

All I really have for details is a brochure for a 1450. It looks like the power for each track is divided right out of the convertor. There appears to be two inputs for the trans. It almost looks like two transmissions in a common housing.

This system came from the American tractor corp Case bought in '57.
