I was looking for a used snow blade for the front on my tractor when I came across the Johnny Bucket. Not only a bucket for all seasons but plows snow pretty darn good also. I got all the attachments, so the bucket raises and lowers with the flip of a button but also dumps! Has over 200lbs of down preasure. When the snow gets too deep or high of a pile I just tilt the bucket down and take a load down the street!
Would give this product a thumbs UP!!:)

I have been e-mail John Scheele (JohnnyBucket) and think that is the way to go also. We haven't discussed prices yet though. The manual dozer blade did the job, but I had shoulder surgury, and can't lift the blade anymore. In fact, this winter I used the Oklahoma approch to snow removal. Thank you for your reply!

Another option is a 12v linear electric actuator for the lift. They go for about $100-120 and can be had in various travel heights. You would need to do some design for the attachment points, etc, but its a possibility. I am thinking of the same thing for mine which is already a hybrid plow from my old tractor (see one of my old posts). The plow works good up to 10 inches or so , but after that its too much.

Thank you for your reply. I have come to the same conclusion, and while investigating I was directed toward the Johnny Bucket

John Scheele, the owner was nice enough show me what he uses in his creation, which is something so very uncommon in today's world, that I am planning on buying his entire Johnnybucket / johnnyblade package.
