Grading Dozer blade?

Flipping through the original literature that came with my (used to me...but with some literature...) YM336D, I noticed a front dozer blade, with down pressure. Has any ever seen one, or know of one for sale (or after market?) I know a dozer would be better, but it's not really in the cards right now, but a positionable dozer blade would do a lot of what I'd like to get done (and that isn't easily done with the box blade I already have, or the york rake, or the two twisted up back blades I (ok, so one was free and already broke, but the Woods I purchased I've broken twice now...definitely only buying medium or heavy duty (rather than normal duty) implements for up here from now on.....)

I have a dozer blade that came off a YM226D but will fit on a YM336D with only minor modifications, contact me if you are interested in it.

I have a JD dozer blade on one of my yanmars... I've looked around for others with down pressure and have never found one yet. Doesn't mean they don't exist, just not really available. But, maybe the other poster has one with the down pressure?

It's common to find JD blades with left-right up / down (to ground) movement... And, they work pretty well. -Art

There is a YM155D with blade on Ebay right now. I don't know the status of the blade though.

The FEL on my 1602D has down pressure, couldn't you remove the bucket and put a blade on instead? Wouldn't that do the same thing?

A blade on the FEL when tilted or angled would put a lot of non-standard strain on the FEL arms / pins / etc.... Usually the FEL is up, down, or down pressure, and is hopefully evenly applied to both sides. I figure dozing work with the FEL arms would just tear them apart....

We'll see what's out there!

P.S. YM336D is quite a bit bigger than the one on Ebay (336 is 33HP, 4wd, about 5' wide)
