Why don't you scroll down to delete,click on delete & delete your unwanted post yourself?

That was the first thing I tried, but the delete box you show is not available/shown on my screen, only the option to edit. Checked it again, same thing.

It's odd you don't see the delete box that I outlined in red.

Just not there. Maybe you could come over and show me on my PC. Hopefully a moderator will come along and delete this thread and you and I won't be bothered with it.

Click Edit Post. Then click Go Advanced. Click Delete this post in the following manner: and click the Delete Post box at the right.
