Just go buy a pair of Polk Audio R15's and a yamaha powered sub woofer or a pair of paradigm studio monitors and a powered sub.

Back in 98 or 99 I installed a plasma at Williams Telecommunications headquarters in Tulsa. It was a professional level unit (they were out professionally for a long time, before they were available to the consumer). This plasma was 32" and cost over $30,000 at the time. It was used in their lobby area for the big whigs. The contract was multimillion dollars. Anyway, these things took awhile to trickle down and now they are very reasonable.
BTW, maybe this is why Williams went down!

Next time I have to read a company's K-1 report, I will be sure to check their spending on hi tech TVs.

Years ago we bought one of the all in one printers that uses ink. It works fine for what we wanted to do but then the kids started doing school projects and chewing through ink aka money. We are going though about $200 a year in ink! 
Last summer I started looking at laser printers due to a thread here on TBN and decided to get a Brother printer. We waited until now to get a better price since the kids were not using the printer much over the summer. We ended up buying a printer that was between $230-250 depending on where you bought it for $75 off. The printer will run 8,000 page before needing new toner so that should last us for a few years. For less than what we have been paying for in ink we got a printer that will or should last for years. And it duplexes, works on Ethernet or wireless and does 32 ppm.
Still hurt paying for it.
Dell is having sales on TVs. My price point is when a 60-65ish inch DLP TV goes under $1,000 I might buy one. They have a 65 inch DLP for $1,000 but we don't have the money. Maybe next year. Sure does look nice though.
We have spent too much money this XMAS buying stuff we needed like a monitor for a laptop whose screen no longer works but is not worth repairing and the before mentioned printer. I am spoiling the kids with an XBOX which was an extravagance but I got $50 off. And it will work well with the new monitor.
Course it would look even better on a 65 inch TV!
MAYBE next year.

3 weeks ago i see a walmart banner online that has a panasonic
plasma 46" tv at wally world for a good price (from what i could see)
so i bought it, seemed like the skilled sales help there didn't really know much about plasma or hz etc. but it's been a good tv, i like it, it's the right size for us.
so sunday, i see they have it on sale, a rollback price, for $100 less than i paid. i called customer service at the store, and ask their refund policy, and they say it's 90 days. bring it in with the reciept, and they inspect the merchandise blah blah blah. so i ask about a price adjustment since the price 3 weeks ago was a "doorbuster" price, and now it's $100 less. they say that i'm out of their 7 day price adjust window.
so i go back to talking about a refund, and while i'm there, maybe i'll buy another one for the lower price, and she mentions something about taking the floor model or something like that.
am i wrong to think that they are not being very fair with this? it's not like it was a black friday sale, and only good till noon friday, or a limited time sale, it was a price rollback. (at least that's what the price tag said)
Honestly think about it this way. Lets say you have a tractor that you want to sell. You put a price of $4,000 on it, and some person stops and wants to buy your tractor. They bring you the money, and you load it up and the deal is done. Three weeks later they show up at your home, with the tractor loaded on the trailer. It has been used during that time, but they tell you they found a deal on the "same tractor" for only $3,000. So now they want you to refund their money, and take the tractor back.
