Dometic generator

well i have run out of ideals now. i have a 1983 dometic 4000 watt generator, it's in a 1983 motor home i can't find any engine id without taking it out of the motor home witch is a major job. it has a tag says it was built by genrac. i called genrac they couldn't tell me anything i called dometic and they couldn't tell me anything. i need a carb for it. i have checked online with several people and they can't help it's a walbro carb lm6. anyone know who i might contact to even find out what engine it is without taking the generator out. thank's

It's cheaper now to go out and purchase a new Champion 4000W than repairs are on an old 4000W generator.

Generators - Dometic

If you can't get parts for the Dometic, personally I'd probably spend the time to track down a Used Onan RV generator to swap in. Good generators, and people that are in the know will pull them before scrapping an RV.
