Anyone ever use DG (Dollar General) spray lubricant on their tractors? I wanted to let you know how well this stuff works. I use it all the time on my 3 point hookups. This stuff is better than grease and no where as nasty. I spray this stuff on every one of my implements and it stays on there a long time and it does not get cold and hard like grease. I use it on my top links and they stay nice and free and easy to adjust. I bet someone else has already found out how good this stuff works. I don't know how the first can got into my lubricants but I saw it one day when I needed to lubricate something. After that I use it all the time now.

I use 00 grease for that and it works well. As you say, there's very little mess.

I use the same grease for everything on the tractor and implements. It's a standard Lithium based grease( nlgi-2). Watch what you're doing and wipe when done - works OK for me.

I will check that out, can’t believe I haven’t seen that yet!

Are you referring to their store brand WD40 counterpart? Seems to work as well as the real thing, but I've never used it in places meant to be greased.

It's amazing how nice and easy all the tractor pins move in out after you sprayed them with DG Lubricant.

Sounds like WD40 Specialist, goes on like foam and gets into everything, sticky and doesn't dry out or wash off in rain

I was in one of there stores for the first time about a month ago, I know I live a sheltered life LOL.

I could not believe all the items they carried, I guess I have something else to check out now.

They've really been expanding over the last few years. 5 years ago I'd never even seen one, now there are probably a half dozen within a 25 mile radius.
