He does look like he thinks he's lucky... a boy to play with, a pond to swim in although it might be a bit icy right now, grass to roll in... what more could a dog wish for? :thumbsup:

This is Madison and Buddy. We lost Buddy, to cancer, in 2008 when he was 8 yo.

Madison, our grand daughter, is now in her first year at Texas State University. When Maddy was at the Ranch, Buddy never left her side .. He even slept in her room.

Sounds like "Buddy" lived up to his name for that little girl. That picture just seems to speak volumes. Thanks for posting.

What a wonderful picture! Little girls are so precious (I raised two) and those two look like great buddies. If ever a picture was "suitable for framing", it's that one.
