It's good of you to suffer through it with her, I'm sure that it's quite stressful on that hilltop with nothing to look at but great vistas in all directions.
MF Jones, male black mouth cur on the right and Zeva, female pitbull mix on the left. They were biting at each other, instigated by her, but stopped long enough to look innocent for the photo.
Our Kisha is closing in on 18 months now. She's one of the most animated dogs I've ever encountered. Her genetics turned out to be quite different than what we were led to believe. One of her sibling's DNA came up as: 37.5% American Staffordshire Terrier, 25% Lab, 12.5% Australian Cattle Dog, 12.5% Bulldog, and 12.5% Rottweiler. An 80lb jumping, climbing, "swimming" (mostly running through shallow water- nose down; she will blow bubbles in the water), strong as heck, smart and devious mutt. One moment she's making you laugh; and, the next she has you crying/cursing!
I think she's also part pig!
Clean, greeting me coming home (rag/hand towel in mouth- always has something in her mouth!).
In her battlefield (sticks everywhere!), waiting for me to do something (rare case of me sitting down). Always amazed at how different looking she can appear.
Just another day at work... the 85+ degrees temps drove him to water. The first was in the AM, when we took a break; the second was at the end of the day, on our way back to the truck. He got into the only water he could find, a muck hole at the outlet of a culvert. Sometimes I have to let him do whatever it takes to get cooled down. After that we had to stop by the lake to clean the mud off him.
(I would have left him at home, but knew that I would be gone for 14+ hours.)
