Today was quite nice... once it stopped snowing. It was so warm at lunchtime that I laid down under a tree and took a nap.

We are supposed to get a 65 to 75 degree week with sun. Perfect weather to be outside. Too bad I have to work.

Aussies are the best. Everything is a game when they're young. Mine is a year and a half is he still acts like a puppy, a very very smart puppy. He goes, but he does have an off switch.

Funny thing, his wife has never been around dogs much and she was some reluctant. This couple are in their 50's and my son has had dogs all his life. Now that they've had Boy Blue since he was about 8 weeks she would be devastated if anything happened to him.

All ready for summer! I have never had a dog that needed groooming, how long does it take to grow to the length in the first picture?

Well, I think his last trim was last Summer. We were a bit overdue this time.

This is Max 7 years old. We adopted him 2018 from local shelter. He chases cars, has seizures, digs holes in the yard, obeys commands if he feels like it, hates men & cats & dogs, terrified of thunder, refuses to ride in truck, but otherwise he's perfect! :rotfl:

I do not have any pictures of it but my neighbors dog likes to swim in the saltwater after geese. She goes out a long ways sometimes and we or the neighbor have to call her back. Like a dog can catch a goose in the water, but she tries. Particularly when they have goslings which the eagles are after as well.

My experience with other breeds is the hair grows really fast and fills in before you expect it would. We never used to trim our dogs and now they get buzz cuts with cattle clippers four or five times a year. They love a close haircut and run around the yard and play afterwards. My dogs can't wait for a haircut and actually jump up on the table.

"Brownie" came home with me on the 3rd of May. He was exactly eight weeks old. These pictures were taken Sunday. He weighed seven pounds on the vet's scales this morning. Pure bred Cocker Spaniel.

I have a dog training book in which the author tells of when his hunting partner's dog took after a crippled duck and chased it out into the ocean. Apparently they didn't have a boat and the dog didn't make it back.

A co-worker had a dog like Gus. I was on week end duty and got to see the show on the 2 lane highway where the co-worker lived because I was stopped in my truck just as all the other traffic was. It seems as if the co-worker had stopped, because of traffic, to make a left turn into his residence and his dog thought he needed to be greeted on the road with his feet on top of the truck cab and his head in the window licking the driver's face. Complete traffic shutdown, go ahead and turn in the drive.
