Farmgirl, We once owned a doberman for approximately 6 hours. My wife was shopping at the commissary at Fort Greely , Alaska back in 1983. A female military policeman was transferring to the lower 48 and begged my wife to take her dog. Of course my wife agreed and took the dog to her job where she worked as a cashier in a 4x4 shack at a gas station. The first customer who came to the window startled the dog and it promptly bit my wife on the keister. My wife found the MP at her barracks and returned the dog. You didn't hear it from me but I got quite a kick out of that deal.

If that person is bitten in the future, he DESERVES it. And I won't be one of them insisting the "biting dog" be put down, either. That guy is an IDIOT! I hope he doesn't reproduce.

I think he was just having fun with the dog, has probably done it before and decided to tape it. You could see he was hoping around to get the dog going. At the end, the dog's body posture and tail wag don't look aggressive.

And more bites occur from a fearful dog than an aggressive dog. Startle on like that to wake it up, and he deserves to bitten severely!

Dogs do have a limited sense of humor.
What I see wrong in the video is after getting the dog excited, he runs. That makes him a classic cursive target which is about irresistible to an excited dog. Then the dog nips or grabs his leg, we can't really see exactly what happened there. It is never okay to allow a dog to use their mouth on a person, but the man is training to/reinforcing that behavior.

I've heard Poodles? are very smart. She looks attentive and she's not texting! I bet she could drive as well as some others. :laughing:

Yes they are smart, I never thought I would have a poodle. I've been surprised at what good dog she is. The best part is they don't shed, but the groomer is a $50 bill.

Poodles were originally bred to be hunting dogs, and many of them still retain the instinct.
