Black lab no longer with us. Yellow lab now is almost 12 years old now. The Australian Shepard is almost 15 years old. The baby, the jack Russell is 6 1/2 years old. The wife is 56 years old. As you can see the dogs here has the opposite problem. Gets hot as hades in the summer.

Here are my 3 Girls. Kirby is an old lady, not quite the girl she use to be. But I'm not quite the person I once was either. She is some kind of Mastiff mix. Use to weigh in around 150. Bobby the long hair is about 6 years old. She was a friends dog and he died. No real idea what breed she is, 'Mutt"?? Brat is Bobby's daughter, about 1 year old. I left the gate open at the wrong time and Bobby had puppies.
All three of them love to ride in the truck, each has their on spot. Take them out in the desert & let them roam & hunt. Kirby use to go in big circles now stays pretty close. Bobby & Brat rarely go off more than 100 yards & usually circle back fairly often. I have a little over an acre fenced off, they will not go out even if the gate is left open.
Pictures of Brat & Bobby was the first time Brat had ever come in the house. She has been in twice now. But her & Bobby are outside girls.

Cowboy the Wonder Dog at rest after a long day of riding shotgun in the tractor. When I start my TS110 NH, he jumps in and gets in his spot on the floor next to the door. Right where the air conditioner duct is directed to!! I was feeding sheep large round bales last month and a thunderstorm hit. Rained poured down! Cowboy beat me to the cab and seat!

Good for you for getting shelter dogs! We have owned Dobermans for over 40 years now. If Ricky is the Dobie look-a-like and has some Doberman blood in him you won't be able to keep him off of you. Dobermans have always stuck to us like glue. No matter where we go or what we do they are always there by our sides.
