Yeah...my first, as a personal companion. I grew up with one (1959 to about 1972 or '73). Always had a real soft spot for boxers.

If you're reading this thread you are probably a dog person like me. I have a book to recommend: Cesar Milan's Be the Pack Leader: Use Cesar's Way to Transform Your Dog . . . and Your Life. It confirms many things that I've known about dogs for years; for example: the importance of exercise for dogs. He puts that on top of the list of things to do to calm down a dog with problems. The book is also full of insight into human-dog relations -- particularly the importance of calm but firm leadership.

He's known more for his TV show, Dog Whisperer, which I haven't seen, but I highly recommend the book.

The first photo is Beauty, our Catahoula Leopard Dog. The second is Tyler and Tessa our Collie and English Setter. The last two are the collie again. I've had collies my entire life, wonderful family companions

Here is our dogs. The fist picture is of Nora(front) and Horatio who are standard poodles. Very smart dogs. The poodles are about a year old. We got them when they we puppies. The second picture is of our outside dog we got as a puppy and have had for 14 years.

Absolutely not, he is just a big friendly monster, he likes to grab your hand and play, lots of dog slobber... he is actually my youngest sons' dog, so aka our grand puppy !
