Ya! We've got a few farm dogs. These pics below might have a cat or two mixed in the bunch. All of ours are just ol' loyal culls!

That is a beautiful looking cattle dog - I had one that we got as a 6 month old pup from a shelter and had until he died at age 14. He was one of the smartest dogs I've ever owned. He did however like to try and roundup my neighbors lawn tractor when he was mowing near our property. I'd like to get another eventually. We have a 9 year old chesapeake bay retriever now. I am a dog person and currently have 4 dogs (I am from WV, where you know your a redneck if the porch falls in and kills more than 3 dogs). I have have a Australian Shepard, Lab Cross (pound dog), German Shepard cross(pound dog), Jack Russel Terrier. The JRT is the smallest dog in size but not in spirit. I believe every kid at the age of 7 or 8 should be issued a JRT they are into everything and would be with a kid all of the time. The JRT is the one that takes over the tractor if he gets the opportunity.

He's now 14 months. I've had several different types of dogs over the years, and he just may be the best one yet. I've got 20 head cattle...and he is now getting the idea of what to do. He's starting to be some help with the cows. But most important, he sticks his head into everything I do....he's right there...and truly is my buddy.

Here is the link to our labs we had but sadly we had to put our chocolate one down December 24th - she sure is missed by me!
It was a bad weekend - our one horse got really sick on Christmas and he died early morning on the 26th.

Here are our dogs. The first one is my wifes dog Rocket we got him this spring. The secound is Arthur a basset hound. We had him for 10 years and unfortantly passed away just before christmas a year ago. He always thought he was a lap dog and crashed on my lap many times made a much better blanket than rocket does. We wanted a smaller dog this time so it would not be able to reach the counter top but Rocket can climb like a mountain goat has found his way up there a couple times. Oh and the cat in the first picture is Hanna (I am not a cat fan) she is here for mousing but as you can see Rocket thinks she is good company.

First is Zeppy guarding his toy, Lab -Bull mastiff mix second is Biscuit Merle Great Dane trying to be small,Biscuit posing,Zeppy disguised as a moose,and my old friend Woolly Bully passed away 4:30 02/06/09 from cancer great friend and truly missed.
