Does this qualify for "tractor"

Ok it may be stretching it a bit but it is based on the 56-58 420 2 cylinder JD. The 990 and 650 are feeling neglected now. This was taken at the old owners house just before it was loaded last Sunday. Never enough time in the day anymore.

Used to see a lot of them around here with logging arches, and winches on them. Neighbor had one he used a lot in his sugar bush. Good find!

What'cha got yerself there is one of them thar "COLLECTERS ITEMS". I know of a few crawler collectors that would give their eye teeth for a 420 5-roller crawler. Looks intact and complete, just needing some TLC.

What a score!!! Looks to be in in great condition! Heck, the grill is like new - lacking a good paint job.

But, like all crawlers - the brakes, clutch and the track are where the REAL money is spent!

What do you need brakes for??? Isn't that what the blade is for? Nice machine!! My local JD dealer has an old crawler he's been trying to get me to take off his hands.

yes that is a tractor specifically it is a crawler tractor
