Thts what I do:thumbsup:

I have a special pair of Channel Lock Filter Pliers. Grab the filter at the base, not at the end of the can like most do, and there is not much it will not remove. I have only been a part of a screwdriver though the filter method once and I change oil about 100 times a year. 75 pieces of equipment that I maintain. I guarantee you that the screwdriver would not have been necessary if I had the channel lock filter pliers then.

We had a Ford work truck that was on lease. It was about a 2000 model year F150. Someone had it out one day and the throttle stuck almost wide open. The truck would restart but would rev up. It turned out there was a plastic cover on the throttle body that got stuck under the throttle blade and held it almost wide open. I'm sure this was a cover put on at the factory to keep dirt out during assembly. At some point it was suppose to be removed. I'm still amazed the truck ran with that cover on and it seemed to run O.K.

I'm sorry, I some how wandered off topic.

Not in the least off topic, however, had you ranted about a DODGE truck in your post, that would have been a tad off topic....

What do you mean, who keeps it? We don't put profit on top of the hold back...we sell the truck as if there was no such thing as holdback.

So, are you saying you don't get hold back at your dealership? Or, do you just not admit to it? Just trying to understand your comments.

Where does hold back come into play at your dealership?

Of course there are some dealerships that DO NOT get hold back, such dealerships usually have ADP added to the sticker price or on the sales contract instead.
