Hi! Is there any such thing as a bucket/boom lift attachment for a compact utillity tractor? By this I mean an attachment with a bucket (or platform) that a person can get in and be lifted up in the air to reach a work area. Similiar to the boom lifts you might rent or see on the back of a telephone company truck. I've looked around and called my tractor dealer (JD) but can't find any evidence they make them. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I would think that liability issues might be preventative for a manufacturer.

That said I have seen several members make pretty nice lifts. You might want to do a search.

The pull behind trailer type of manlifts might be your best bet. Probably easier to rent for the time you need one, rather than trying to build one, unless you have a lot of work for one. If you have outside work for one, the libility might be better moved to a manufacturer that has already done the R&D.
