Wanted a front camera to be better able to ”see over“ the front attacment. Rear one to look at whats going on behind without having to turn around.
7” display worked great on a factory bracket. The cameras, I enlarged their mounting bracket holes to fit over the roof studs. Just enough spots and wriggle room to run cables without drilling cab. Split screen or full screen, not too bad for $90 and about an hour and a half. red circle is lift arm ends, green arrows are tires. If anyone knows how to get the stupid vent knob off……Part of why it took so long, I ended up pulling the screen and knob through the headliner(gently).

i would not mine adding a camera to view my forks better, but mounting it on roof like you did would not get the view i need. my issue is when trying to pick up pallet on ground. getting old trying to get forks into pallet.

Not sure, that was part of the intention. My forks weren’t here when I did this. When I get them on the tractor, I will see if I need to relocate.

I think I made the view better. Mounted camera to the grille guard. Much better view (IMO) of the qa plate and forks

You were able to install a camera and a monitor for only $90? o_O

Yep, delivered to the front porch by Amazon. Wanted the rear view more than the front so I don’t always have to turn around to see whats going on.
The other handy feature I realized was now if I lift a grapple full of brush I can see under the load too.
