DK45S cab w/ BH #278??

Anyone think there would be an issue with putting a Bushhog #278 (8') mower on back of DK45S?

Specs for 278 list: "Recommended Tractor HP 40 - pull models, 55 - lift models"

I need a lift model (55hp). The mowing will be mostly flat grove type. I dont want to overload or make the tractor unsafe, but it just seems like the DK45S would handle it just fine.
BTY: I do have a FEL w/ bucket & grapple which should offset some weight.

Help is appreciated.

The dealer recomended a 5' Hog on my 30. I am certain it could pull a 6' on level pastures, so a 8' should be ok on a 45 as long as the ground is level and you aren't trying to chop-up large saplings. I think the "rule" is 10hp per foot of Hog, so your 38hp PTO is very close.
