has anyone ever taken the turbo from a DK50 and put on a DK45?
I have an opportunity to buy a newly rebuilt turbo from a DK50 for $800.
The only other thing i would need for my DK45 is the oil feed line and return line and muffler and gaskets.
But i notice the timing is different from a DK45 to a DK50 12 degrees versus 18 degrees i believe. would timing have to be changed?

Intel, look at a DK55 specs Its basicly a DK45 engine with a turbo. you will also need different manifolds and the turbo will create a little more heat. I know my DK50 never runs out of power. good luck if you try it. FRENCHIE

Would hate to mess up a perfectly well running tractor. How often do you actually stall out your tractor for lack of power. If in the correct gear, very difficult to run out of power with a tractor your size.

My little LK3054 will spin in 4x4 under almost any load.
