DK4210SE front axle question

Does anyone know what the orange painted bolt/fill plug on the front axle/wheel assembly is for? I didn't see anything in the manual about it. I have changed the fluid before but drained through the drain plugs at the bottom an filled through the plastic fill plug/dipstick at the top.

Level plug. The Japanese like to paint plugs orange, so does Kubota.

Front axle fill level , so you know when you've added enough oil.
