DK35se Drain plugs

I've been meaning on asking this for a while, just keep forgetting.
On my DK35se there is another drain plug right next to the engine oil pan drain. (on the passenger side if you will) What's that for? I've never messed with it.

When I changed my tranny fluid, I changed both oil filters, and used the drain plug near the rear of the tractor only. The manual mentioned another drain near there but the diagram in the manual is vague. Was under there this morning and noticing that other drain reminded me to post here. What's that drain for?

I can only tell you for a DK45 there is another drain plug near the engine and it's painted orange this is another transmission drain and must be drained also.

There are two oil drain plugs on my DK40se, one on port the other starboard. Different motor I know but check to make sure on yours. Both should be opened for an oil change.

Check your owners manual.

The oil tank had 2 halves. If you only drain one side you'll miss about 1/3 of the oil. I'm not sure but I'll bet the oil pickup had 2 inlets to keep the engine from starving for oil when it gets into some of the strange positions tractors are apt to get into.
