I have a 2004 DK35 with just under 1000hrs and here is my problem...
I turn the key to the "warm" position and the preheater relay box makes an audible buzz and also vibrates.
All normal lights illuminate on the dash but at the same time, the tach jumps around a little in the 1000rpm range.
I turn the key to the "start" position and the lights go out on dash and engine doesnt turn over.
Upon turning the key back to the "off" position and with the key "off", I hear a buzzing/humming under the drivers console/dash board.
The battery and ground are good but upon checking the connections and after trying to start the tractor, I found the positive terminal hot to the touch.
I unplugged the preheater box and still get the same result minus the buzz/vibration.
I replaced the ignition switch and swapped the two identical relays on the firewall by the fuel tank and still have the same problem.
