Today was relatively warm so I did an experiment. I reversed the lines on the loader and sure enough the curl and dump sppeds increased enough so I noticed it. Put everything back together correctly and was back to a sleepy slow dump curl. Any thoughts ?Happy holidays all, G

gmol, could you explain a bit more in detail what you did? My TC48DA has 3/8" hoses going to the cylinders, but my IH3444 has 1/2" hoses going to the cylinders. I haven't run any timed tests, but neither seems all that much faster than the other. I have noticed that on my buddies TC35A the hydraulic pump looks, and measures the same as the TC48, but the supply line to the pump is larger, and the line from the pump to the valve body is larger. Have you looked into this, or possibly a larger pump. The amsoil 5-30 hydraulic oil may flow faster also. Just thoughts...... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

All I did was go to the quick disconnects at the valve junction and reversed the lines. When I went to run the loader arms the bucket responded and when I went to curl or roll the loader raised and loweed. It was a quick test . I beleive I have discovered that the detent in the joystick/valave bidy is not opening enough when you go to traditional curl and dump positions with the joy stick.

I do beleave that you may need to adjust you cable,
It is not fun.

Have you experienced any of these valave bodies with this problem ? I am leaving town for a bit and my dealer is going to check it out.I have messed with the adjusters at the joystick but this did nothing .

I think i have asked you in the past but don't remember what you said.. Have you done a pressure and flow test on your tractor?

There was a pressure test done but no flow test. It will be going back to shop soon. It was definetley faster when the loader lines went to the bucket.Any thoughts?

I would make sure to have a pressure test done on all the loader ports...

Check the quick couples
we had one that apart inside came a loose and cause a blockage in .

I'd second tractorhill before you go too far, unless its under warranty. I've seen quick connects do some funny things sometimes.

Agreed about the quick coupler check, in fact if you aren't taking the loader on and off, I would seriously consider just doing away with the QCer, and just hard plumb the loader. The QCers do restrict flow. Checking them first is your first best bet.

Got word today from dealer. They did a adjsutment to the joystick and got 10 gpm of flow out of all of the loader ports. I have not been to the tracotr to see if it is any faster and will be out of town for a while before I can check it out. Dealer tells me there is a 1590 s loader in the works. Any one heard of this. Is it just the 1595 with the kinks worked out ?
