Kioti DK 35
Been awhile since I been on here. Have a problem knew yall would be here to help a guy out. Thanks in advance.

I have managed to back into a stick and poke it up into the bottom of the radiator and bent the lower water neck out of round. Thought I could bend it back into a close circle well I think that part is good enough to seal, but the mount that is welded to the bottom of the radiator look like it pulled away from the tank and created a hair line crack.

Long story short I am headed for the radiator shop tomorrow and see what they say. I am scared of them not being to fix it and having to buy a new one.

Anyone know of a good place to get a radiator?? Thru KIOTI dealer or would a BOBCAT dealer be cheaper or how about an aftermarket???

Wait and see what the shop says.

I don't think you'll find an aftermarket radiator to fit without some work/customizing. You'd have to check with Kioti or Bobcat dealers. Prices seem to go up and down from each other for different parts. My local radiator shop can fix about anything. I hope yours can do the same.

I believe mattman has the older model/style DK 35. (Before Bobcat tractors) so it is doubtfull that the Bobcat radiator would work.

Your radiator shop will no doubt be able to fix it.Bob Cat nor Cub Cadet will ever beat Kioti's reasonable parts prices...Mike.

The rad for a DS 4110 HS has two nipples off the bottom that sit into rubber grommets on the main frame. My first "accident" broke both of these nipples off. This left me with no anti-freeze and two very large holes in my rad. A new rad is $500 plus bucks. To make a long story short I was able to reattach the nipples and repair the rad with an epoxy called heavy duty PC-7 and seal-all over top. (The seal-all may not have been necessary)

Use a dremel type tool to V groove the hair line crack. Apply the epoxy and smooth it out, letting it sit over night. Apply the seal-all. Seal off the openings with duck tape, saran wrap and more duck tape. Spit on the crack, (or liquid soap) inject air from a compressor and look for bubbles. No bubbles, good, reinstall the rad.

If you are half way handy it will save you $ and if it doesn't work buy the new rad anyway.

Even if you need to repeat the process a few times it will be cheaper than a new rad.

Recently experienced a very similar incident as the OP. Had to replace rad with new - $647.00 - with final tally just under $1400.00. This included towing, labor, etc.
The only good out of this, my a/c was untouched.
Lesson learned, a shield will be added under the opening that is directly below the rad as well as front grill protection.

I got off lucky this time. My radiator shop was able to fix my radiator. I need to build me some kind of belly pan to help stop this from happening. If you play you have to pay comes into affect here like anywhere's else. These machines are not made to be used like log skidders.

Side note WIX lists an air filter that is suppose to fit my tractor it won't. The inside hole on the filter will not go over the inner air filter. I thought about buying the WIX inner and trying it to see if the outer would go over it. Probably better to just pick up a Kioti filter next time I go towards the dealer. Kioti filters are cheaper than the WIX filters I bought like the fuel and oil filter.

Thanks for the replies.
