DIY Tractor toolbox holder

Decided to mount a .50 cal Ammo can to my ROPS to hold tools, chain, clips, etc.

Used some scrap 1/8 angle iron I had laying around and stick welded this up.

Can is a light friction fit so I can remove if needed. Time will tell if I need a standoff down to the fender for support.

I should add I didn't weld on the ROPS, I bolted it to the tab that had the SMV sign bracket attached.

Thats good otherwise you would have been flogged tarred and feathered.
Like your mount and location. Ive bought ammo cans and toolboxes with plans of mounting to my tractor but so far havent been satisfied with how it would turn out. Maybe Im just too picky.

I fabricated some guards for the tail lights on my L2501. Looks like you could add some expanded metal to the bottom of your tool box holder to protects yours as well if you wanted.

The holes are in the fender with tape across them. Simply buy the handle with the hardware from Kubota and add it on. Not having it on the tractor saves folks that don't need it or want it (like me) $50.00.
