I've read the same reports. Jacobesn purchased them several years ago and they supposedly closed their plant in December of this year. They still have a web site up so I'm not sure what's up. Very competitive industry with new competitors entering all the time.

Saw article dated 8/5/19 and my Dixie Chopper dealer confirmed that the Alamo Group Inc had purchased the assets of Dixie Chopper, and that Dixie Chopper would remain in business....
