Disk plow ??? Advice / opinions/ information wanted

I would like input /advice from anyone who has used one of these. Is this an "in the furrow plow" like for instance a Ford 101. I'm thinking this would be a better option for me when it comes to disking fire lanes on woods roads where there may be shallow stumps.

That is where a disc plow shines. We had one and a regular plow and we used the disc plow for new ground. Should work fine but take it slow and easy, They don't hook stumps and roots as bad but I did see one with a broken disc once.
