Discount tires?

My first tractor had 27 years on the OEM tires. There was still 75% of the tread remaining on those tires.

I just hope that holds true for my 2009 Kubota. The local Les Schwab tire dealer will come out here - suck out the RimGuard - install a new tire - replace the RG - install the new tire.

There is NO WAY I'm going to be able to handle the rear tires on my Kubota. Each weighs over 1000 pounds.

The best I could hope for - make an appointment - drive the tractor into Les Schwab and let them do the work there.

It's twelve miles - one way. That's not so bad.

Check out local farm supply stores or co-ops—they often have better prices on tractor tires than big retailers. You might also want to look at online sites like SimpleTire or TireRack; they sometimes have deals on larger sizes like 14.9-24. I’ve saved quite a bit shopping smart before—like when I scored discounted home decor during my visit to Germany—so it’s worth comparing prices and waiting for sales if you can.
