Disc brake pad orientation

actually my buddy put my rear brakes on backwards, even got the caliper to close and bolt in, blew my mind, he's been a mechanic his whole life, he will never live it down. so yes you can put on brakes backwards

sometimes the sqeeker as some have mentioned go a specific way. i also have a 08 sentra, don't remember them having to be a specific way.
