my engine oil dipstick got yanked out brush hogging today, didn't notice till putting tractor away, was spurting oil out of the stick hole was running it for 2 hours, how much came out,??? Iam going to change the oil just in case

We can't do that because it makes too much sense. We are not living in the age of doing things that make sense anymore. Those days are long gone.Why are we changing the oil. Find or buy the dipstick and check it then. Isn't that the point of a dipstick, to know how much oil is in the engine? It is not like you are going to run it until one has been installed anyways. After you have a dipstick and checked oil, add oil if low. It as simple as that.

Yes crankcase pressure is what I'd look into. I have cleared jungle many times. Never lost a dip stick.Seems there have been a few other cases of missing dipsticks reported here lately but they were supposedly blown out by crankcase pressure and Iām not sure what brands of tractors they were.
