Dip stick stuck

A weird problem but the dip stick to the rear gear case is stuck solid. I have tried turning it prying it hook vise grips to it. The only thing that is happening is the rubber is about to break off the dipstick. Any ideas? I have a YM165D.

Wow, if vise grips don't do it, it is hard to say what to try. Maybe soak it with a penetrating oil like PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench?
