I think you'll love it !

Had mine for 3½ years, 1225 hours, and still look forward to using it. (My 2538 is the predecessor to the 2638) Purrs like a kitten, works like a mule !!

Will be interested to hear your experiences about removing and reattaching your backhoe when you want to use another implement. Also, get a Pats quick attach for hooking up the brush hog, and box blade. Makes a world of difference to hook them up easily.

Looks great, also interested in how much a pain removing the backhoe is.

Well, I removed the backhoe today, and it took me less than 30 minutes total.

I'm thinking it will take less than half that time when it comes off again.

I mounted the quick-hitch and then attached the 60" brush cutter.

I plan to mow a bit of our property next week, after we return from Tweedsmuir Park.

But I'm still waiting for a Milwaukee cordless electric grease gun to arrive.

The loader only has 12 zerks but the backhoe has at least 42.

I know the brush cutter will need grease as well.

I'm sure glad the box blade has none.

The next project is to erect rhe 12X24X10' portable carport, so ding beep will have a bit of shelter.

Hopefully enough room to house the attachments and implements as well...

The 72" box blade will clear a pad for the carport.

Then I'll re-attach the backhoe.

I'll have another update as soon as we return from the park. :fishing:

nice, good luck with it. i have a 2555 i bought about 3 years ago or so. having a blast with it. some things i did before i even got it dirty:
mounted a couple of fire extinguishers (had a hydraulic hose burst on another tractor and fluid went on exhaust and started a fire, since then i carry fire extinguishers on the new one, actually used one of them few weeks ago when a golf cart that relatives were using follwoing me clearing trees caught fire).

marked every structural bolt across the nuts/bolts and all the wheel lugs with painters marker so i can visually see if they loosen , SOOOO much easier than taking out a wrench every so often to check them.

took apart every electrical connector i could find and put dielectric grease in them so they dont rust over the long term and zip tied them together so they wont loosen up.

have fun.
