Differential lock was stuck

Some older B models like B7100HST in the manual stated should only go forward or backwards avoid sharp turns.

Oh well, it is what it is. When it breaks I'll fix it.

You’d probably be better off to part it out and scrap the rest for the cost of fixing a transmission case full of metal

Wait until you see how much THAT cost, you will wish you had "fixed it before it broke"!!

Agree 100%

Occasional drop of oil where the diff lock pedal exits the differential housing will keep it working smoothly - it is called preventive maintenance.

I know many people are not big on that, they just fix it after it's broken!

I keep an old style lube oil can filled with filled mixture of 30W or 10W-30 oil and some STP engine oil additive.
Works way better than WD40 etc. spay in the long run.

Long shot OP, but check the fluid level in that axle.

I don't know your tractor/axle layout, but if there is some reliance for lube internally (splash/slosh), then I'd want to check esp. if you are all flatland.

If you work on billy-goat trails like some do, the axle could be half-empty and still slosh plenty though ....

Fluids are fine. Change them and filters long before what is called for. Pedal moves freely. Just notice sometimes both wheels spin.
Oh well, it's a 2013 so time for some new toys anyway.
The 55 Allis will take over while I wait for the new Kubota to come in.
