Different Mark-ups for Different Products?

I'm considering purchase of a JD Gator HPX, and am wondering if I should more or less of a discount from list price on this machine vs. the discounts reported here on tractors.

(I've posted a more specific question on the machine and pricing in the ATV/UTV forum, but figured there may be many subscribers who read this forum and not that one. Please forgive if you think this is a cross-posting)

Your best bet is to just price check in your area. Most of the time, every dealer has a different price. I did not figure the percentage when I bought a gator, but I gave $8700 for a 2007 gator xuv. JC

The trade discount on High-Performance Gators (HPX & XUV) are the lowest in Deere. Advantage Series tractors are next, then Premium tractors and finally Lawn & Garden equipment. (except the LA series) Deere feels like most of our money on the Gator sales should come from the accessories. Hope this helps!
