MITSUBISHI MT18
I have a Mitsubishi MT18D, and am looking for a new water pump. I've found one for an MT18. Does anybody know what the difference is between MT18 and MT18D. What I really want to know is: will an MT18 water pump fit an MT18D tractor?
Thanks in advance

Aha, the thread came up. Tapatalk didn't want to find it for me.

The I&T manual does not specify any difference, you can also check sparex.

You need to know what engine you have and any accessories that might be belt driven.

Yea, wondering why mine is labeled MT180HD.
It is two wheel drive and hydrastatic trans.
I have learned that "D" means 4wd, but not on mine.
I rarley see mention of an "HD"....but so it goes.
Mine goes good now you guys on this sight helped me

HD means hydrostatic, it is different from the D designation. I am not actually sure there were any 4wd hydrostatic, my manuals do not indicate that there were.

Nice pictures, wish I had a mid-mount mower.

makes sense.
Hydrostatic is nice for cutting the lawn. Quick and easy to foward/back.
That and box scrappering the 360' gravel drive it all we use it for...and the occassional tractor job of pulling a down tree of the track.
