JDFANATIC,

Your good suggestion about adding 5 suitcase weights to the front of the 2305 generated a couple followup questions I had regarding PSI in the front and rear tires...

1) What should be the PSI tire pressure for front and back tires with say these 5 weights and a JD 647 tiller attached??

2) What about a PTO driven spreader attached with front weights?

3) Finally, what are good guidelines for PSI if only a 62" MMM is attached??

thanks much

JDTRAC,

Good questions. :)

1) On my 2210, I run the max psi on the rear tires (loaded), and about 10 psi over max on the fronts. The reason I overinflate the fronts is that I've almost had them flat on the ground with really heavy loader work (remember, we know a 2210/210 combo will lift 1170# to ~ 16"). This is with turfs; if you run industrials, then you already have more support and I would likely run the max indicated on the tire.

2) I'm not sure what you meant by this, can you clarify?

3) I would go with the max indicated pressure on the tire itself.
