I was removing the battery from my Iseki TX2160 when the negative lead flopped onto its battery terminal just as I bumped the positive against the metal body. This arced momentarily before I broke the circuit. Now I cannot start the tractor. Glow plugs work but starter will not turn. Please can someone advise on what I've damaged? Thank you

Noticed you posted twice. If you have a volt meter and TIME, you can go thru the entire tractor electrical. From fuses, grounds, VR, alternator, starter and since it's more modern the inputs to the computer.

Or take it to a local Iseki dealer and have them go thru it all for about $1,200.

I’ve never seen an Iseki dealer.

He solved the problem:

Fault solved. A wire from the safety switch had a loose connection. It is very taut where it exits the side of the chassis towards the dash. I think my big boot must have caught it using the clutch pedal or getting on or off the tractor..
