Deutz Allis Hydraulic Issues

Hi, I have a Deutz Allis 6250 I have replaced the power steering motor, got everything hooked up and smoked the hydraulic pump. Got a new pump double checked everything to make sure it was hooked up correctly, started the thing up and nothing no steering, no loader, no hydraulics working at all turned the thing off before I burned up this hydraulic pump..........frustrated! I've been fooling with this thing for 6 months. Any ideas suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Pull the pump one more time and reckeck shaft, gears or coupler. I wouldn't start until you are 100% sure the steering valve is hooked up right.

For added protection, install a relief valve after the pump. That way, the pump will be protected for any mistakes you make downstream.

Have you check for a complete flow path?

Install a hyd gage so you can see where you have pressure and how much.
