Since Yanmar built those engines for Deere I wouldn't be surprised if the studs are common across several Yanmar ag and marine engines in the same era.

Another application of Yanmar engines was the refrigeration units on the front of semitrailers and ocean cargo containers. For the US, there may be more of those refrigeration units out there than there are Yanmar-engined ag tractors.

My local ThermoKing dealer had the best price for a Thermostart (manifold heater) element. Of course it was under a unique part #. Genuine Perkins, the original patent owner for this widely used device.
