Also, a chain is much safer than a cable, since chain does not stretch and won't snap back on you. Even so, hang a blanket or something over the chain about halfway between your truck and the shed. I doubt that you will need much force to pull it over if it is as rickety as you say it is.

After removing the sheathing on the gable ends, with the way it appears to be leaning, I'm thinking you could push it over by hand. It's worth a try anyway, before going through the labor and expense of any rigging.

I would
  1. Clean out trash from landing area
  2. Remove sheathing from gable ends
  3. Use chainsaw to cut across tops of (2 out of every 3) studs on the side you are pulling from
  4. Attach chain or cable to top of that wall
  5. Pull it over (it should pretty much collapse on itself
  6. Buy or build a set of forks
  7. Take debris to a burn pile

Here's a pic of wood forks a fellow TBNr built.

I would simply use my FEL bucket and push in one corner, near the top, or even just lift one corner, and proceed forward. I know what will happen; my neighbor did it with a shed that I gave to him. It was flat in seconds.

Not sure my FEL could lift this thing. Maxes out at 1200 pounds. I'm guessing the shed is plenty more than that.

Run under the back corner and lift. In two minutes you will know.

Light it on fire. It'll do the work for you.

Brett

That was my first thought. Clear away the brush round it, douse it in gasoline to ensure a fast burn, keep a hose on hand, and torch it. 4-5 hours it'll be a pile of ashes. Go over it with a strong magnet when it's done and 95% of the nails will come up without a problem. It'll take care of both the disassembly and the cleanup in one shot.

Curling is 10x stronger than dead lift. leave the loader arms in place and curl the bucket.

I don't know about TEN times, but yeah usually 2 or 3 times. Good tip.

Ok little exaggeration there, but yeah, it's a lot more powerful. Same force will do more work with a shorter lever.
