Tractor
Mahindra 2415 TLB 1967 Holder AG3, articulated 4wd
Pulled the trigger on a 2415HST TLB yesterday and they will be delivering it on Friday afternoon. Im pretty excited. Thanks to all the folks on here with their kind advice and knowledge. If it wasnt for this forum, I probably never would have been comfortable enough buying Mahindra over a "proven" brand like Green and Orange. However, It is clear to me that Mahindra is just as proven as anything else(and at a substantially better price!) I've found that Mahindra Dealers are for the most part very thoughtful, honest people to deal with. Keep up the great work, Mahindra will climb to the top of the heap if they can stay consistent with how they are operating. Happy tractoring!

Cool and welcome to the Mahindra family. Sounds like you are as excited as I was a couple of months back when I got mine. Like Xmas as a kid again!;)
That tractor line seems to have a great background for lasting and trouble free operation, good choice buddy.
Pictures are a must, you know proud dad and all.

I couldnt even wait to take pictures before I got it dirty. Put a whole tank full of diesel through it in the first weekend. Im very impressed with the power of the 2415 and traction. It moves things that I never expected it would. Digging the third stump I did bend the hydraulic cylinder that curls the bucket on the backhoe!!!! Thats a little frustrating however they are overnighting one to come out and install it. Im having trouble getting the pics uploaded, stay tuned.

I wouldn't have thought it would be able to do that? Was it in a unusual position at the time or was there something lodged against it?

Nothing ever came in contact with the cylinder. I had the bucket curled under a stump and I almost had it out. Hopefully I just got a bad cylinder and this does not become a theme. I've thought alot about how this could have happened and I've come to the conclusion that there is just no reason other than a faulty cylinder. I was only using it, not abusing it. I'm still quite pleased with my purchase.

If you had the backhoe bucket hooked on the root, and tried to drive the tractor forward, that will bend the bucket cylinder. That is a no no. I have had customers do that. Good luck with it and enjoy your tractor.

I had the outriggers and FEL down to raise the tractor so that wasnt the case. That is good information to know about driving with the bucket hooked to something though.

Well, finally got some photos to post, I know that is the rule when you buy a new tractor. So far just digging a few stumps, some rock removal/moving and cleaning up my yard. Although, my neighbor came over to see it the other day and he wants to try pulling a hay rake with it this summer! I told him I'd be willing to give it a shot, Ive never taken part in any Ag tractor activities and I dont know the size of the equipment. From what he says, you need a pretty good speed to pull it at therefore im skeptical that it will have enough power to pull it at the speed needed in high range Hydro. I'm very impressed with my tractor overall, but the high range hydro won't blow you away.
