I have a full blown adiction to this forum. Is there any cure? I read most of the catagories at least once a day and usually several times. I usually don't read all the posts and replies because some just don't interest me. I go into the ones that don't interest me only when I need a quick fix for my addiction and there is nothing else new.
Is there any way to delete the "new" on a post in a catagory without opening it. If so, this will tell me what is actually new and not what I left for lack of interest. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

We're probably going to add a mark all read function to the forum, but that would mark all forums read, not on a forum-by-forum basis...

Ok, here's what I mean:

When the main index shows <font color=blue>(X New)</font color=blue>, that means that 'X' messages are unread in that forum... you haven't viewed the forum since they were posted.

The function that we might add will be to mark all messages in the forums as 'read' or 'viewed', so the main index will no longer display <font color=blue>(X New)</font color=blue> (for that session) and inside the forums, all messages will be marked as read. Unread messages have the yellow folders and if they have new replies, a 'new' icon next to the number of replies.

So basically we might add a feature that would do what you asked, but it would be for all forums... not just one.
