Defroster in Cab

Alright! Good answers all!! I will take a look at the outside air selector and see about getting it fixed. An external fan is a good idea too, but maybe too evasive and nightmareish to install. I'll try with a side window open and see if that helps.

I figured it was due to lack of air flow over the windows. To be honest, I totally forgot about the selector being broken until someone mentioned it. I have no idea which way it is stuck. Could be open to outside already.

I always wondered why the left and right defrost vents are installed with the louvers adjusting to the middle of the cab verses being able to point them at the door glass.

Those have to be able to be removed and turned 180 so the louvers point the other way.

I was coming here to say exactly that. I popped out 2 of the vents in the front, spun them 180 and snapped them back in. Also doing all the interior of the glass with anti fog helps a little.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! Why didnt I think of that?!
Any method or trick to doing this? I would hate to break flimsy plastic and no control where the air goes.

You can always pay the stealer for new ones and put them in the direction you want.

I think just gently with a slotted screw driver. There should be tabs holding them up. I did the outer two in the front and it only took a minute.

Very simple fix. There are two tabs on each side. Use a small flathead screw driver and push them inward. Then pull the vents straight out. Flip them around and reinstall.
