Deere Rotary Cutters

As I mentioned in a previous post somewhere around here I bought a heavy duty Brush Bull 48 to go behind my 4110. It is built like a tank but cuts poorly and the paint peeled of in sheet the first time I washed it. So in this case the 'other color' is Rustoleum primer brown. Not recommended.

I intend to replace the BB with something but have not decided on what. Maybe a Land Pride. I want something that cuts and shreds the material as nicely as my old JD cutter did.

Is anyone out there unhappy with their John Deere MX cutters?

my lx5 has cut sapplings no larger than 1 1/2 with no problem. it is not made for commercial right of way cutting but weekend warrior work. and mine is crearly stamped made in china.
